Site Merchandiser

 

As a Site Merchandiser for LovelySkin, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital success story. Your mission will be to curate and optimize the digital shopping experience, ensuring that our website showcases the best products, offers, and content to engage and convert customers.  Your keen understanding of skincare products, consumer behavior and ecommerce trends will enable you to create compelling online assortments that resonate with the LovelySkin customer. 

In this role you will:

• In this role you will work closely with Purchasing, Marketing, Business Development, Content/Design, and external vendors, to maintain the LovelySkin online assortments. In addition to this you will also research, create, gather, organize, and edit a comprehensive set of category, brand and product information as well as seasonal activations so user experience on LovelySkin.com is fresh, intuitive, easy, and enjoyable.
•          Works across teams to coordinate content availability, sku activity and determines how to best present merchandise offerings in different categories.
•          Provides business inputs and context to creative teams for execution, ensuring content is revenue-driving, trend driven, and reflective of both brand and LovelySkin standards
•          Collects customer & consumer insights and KPIs from analytics to help develop relevant merchandising and marketing initiatives for brands, products and categories
•          Curate and organize product listings on the website, ensuring that product images, descriptions, and pricing are accurate and compelling.
•          Continuously improve the user experience by analyzing website traffic, user behavior, and feedback to make data-driven recommendations for site enhancements.
•          Collaborate closely with Marketing and Content teams to manage product selection for the web channel, introduce new products and brands to web customers as well as optimize web content.
•          Coordinates on seasonal and evergreen campaigns, online promotions, product launches, purchase funnel selling, page content, pricing display and messaging, multi-channel initiative support.

Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska (Not eligible for fully remote)
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Hybrid work schedule

Required Qualifications:

•          Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
•          Minimum three years of experience in product content delivery, site management and workflow in an online retail environment.
•          Experience with web technology platforms/working with a content management system to update pages.
•          Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application to Ecommerce.
•          Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
•          Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•          A problem solving, customer-driven approach and mindset is critical for success in this position.

Nice to have:

• Basic skills in desktop publishing applications, Excel, Photoshop, and Acrobat
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
