This is my favorite vitamin C serum. I've tried the CE Ferulic, but it's too oily for my acne-prone skin. This serum is much more lightweight and doesn't leave a shiny finish, more of a subtle glow. It's not irritating even with the salicylic acid, and helps to brighten my skin tone over the 4 months I used it, and keep blemishes from coming up. I will definitely repurchase this over the CE Ferulic version.

I started with SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.3 Refining + Anti-Aging Night Cream which was wonderful as I had never used a retinol before. And my skin is extremely sensitive. However my skin handled this product very well. I recently switched to the 5% and I definitely see a difference. I am only using it 3x a week as it is very strong for my skin. But already my skin is brighter. I love all Skineuticals products. They are the best!!!
