For daily use I like the EltaMD clear sunscreen, but wanted a facial sunscreen that was water-resistant for those days at the pool. After receiving a sample of this one I ordered the full size and am very happy with it. Not greasy, no chemical smell, no white cast, and works very well. Can even wear under makeup, good for a long day out and about. A winner!

Great for sensitive skin
I like EltaMD sun screen but love the EltaMD UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+. I have sensitive skin and sun screen often causes small bumps on my face so I have been using the Clear formulation of EltaMD but find it a bit drying. I get no bumps with the Sheer formulation and it keeps my skin from feeling dried out.

Not my favorite!
For years I used EltaMD Clear, but as I've aged I switched to EltaMD Daily sunscreen and find it works much better for me. I'm always on the search for something even better than Daily so I tried this new product from EltaMD. It's just ok as far as I'm concerned. To be honest, it stings a bit when applying and that's a problem I never have with Daily. At this point, I'm going to stick with Daily.

I was surprised at how small a full-size was since this is for the body and face, but I like that it didn't leave a super thick and white cast on the skin. It seems a bit less greasy than other sunscreens, too. I use it for when I want extra strong sun protection, even if I'm not going in the water. I recently developed some nasty skin conditions that required extra sun protection, and I found this sunscreen to be helpful.
