Not my favorite anymore
I used to love this product when it was 30 spf, I'm a redhead with fare skin so spf is crucial for me. Unfortunately I am not liking the new 40spf blend. It goes on VERY thick, too much for my liking. It feels like sunscreen going on your face and I look very pale with it on, must apply a decent amount of water and I feel it slightly throughout the day as well. Not a fan anymore.

matte finish
This is a nice moisturizer if you want a matte finish for daytime, but it is really not the strongest sunscreen out there. Perhaps good enough if you spend most of your time indoors. If not, I would recommend elta. This moisturizer feels hydrating but does not look greasy. I have found the scent to be a bit different than the red current cleanser or tonique, it seems a bit more floral.

Pros: great sunscreen for your face, not heavy, blends in easily Cons: for me, I seemed to breakout a little when wearing it everyday. I’ll use this if it’s a hot sunny day, and I’ll be outside for an extended time
