I asked my coworker what she used on her skin that gave her such a glow. Answer = Jane Iredale BB mineral cream. I used it for the first time yesterday after an IPL treatment. The coverage was amazing and flawless. The color was a good match for me, with the help of LovelySkin's phone assistance. I recommend using a primer or moisturizer before applying the BB cream to be sure it goes on smoothly. It went on thick but looked great. I applied with my fingers. I really love this foundation because it is light but has great coverage. It's important to me that Jane Iredale products are healthy for your skin and have none of the chemicals that many of the other major brands contain. My only reason for not giving it five stars is because I wish they had more colors. I use BB#7 but having olive skin, it looks a bit more yellow than I would like. Be sure to use the primer with it!

I have used Glow Time BB Cream for several years now. On its own, I find it to be too thick to provide the sheer coverage I desire, so I mix just the tiniest dot with my chemical-free SPF 41 tinted sunscreen and mix well. This creates just enough coverage, and the first tube I had lasted for a very long time, making it totally cost effective. Since I use so little, I find comfort in the fact that the SPF 41 provides the needed sun protection. The Glow Time does just as it says, gives a slight glow, and makes me look more "finished" without the heavy look of foundation, which is not desirable in one's sixties. By the end of the day, it can look somewhat dry, but I'm willing to accept that since it doesn't cause breakouts on my sensitive combination skin.

I have tried two different colors, thinking they were the right color. It seems to appear lighter in color on my face than the samples show. I am olive complexed, 54 yr. old and do not have great skin. The coverage is extremely full and a little goes a long way. I think I need to go to the next darker shade as this one is too light for me, even as a winter color. I do have oily skin and this seems to make it oilier, which is disappointing to me. However, when I want to look my absolute best, I will choose to use this on special occassions for that perfect face look and blot more often.

What I like about this product is that it doesnt migrate throughout the day and make my eyes itch so I can use it very close to my under eye area. I have found with other tinted sunscreen moisturizers that migrating into the eyes is a big problem especially since I work a very long day usually. Also I like that its matte (I have very oily skin) and it stays shine free for several hours without powder. It has excellent match to my skin tone and the first time I wore it I got several comments like "you look great today" with that "what are you doing different?" look accompanying them. If you are on the fence about trying it and dont have very dry skin to begin with I would say definitely go for it! If you are super dry I dont think you will like this is as it very matte to begin with.

I ordered BB1 based on the shade finder in the description (I use Bisque in Amazing Base), however it was too pink and chalky. I received a sample of BB5 and tried mixing it with BB1 and it was not bad but a bit too dark. Ordered BB3 and I think I finally found it. I'd still prefer it if it was a bit more yellow, but after initial application, it really melts into your skin and looks great. My skin feels really protected with the SPF of 25. I was using BB3 when I received a sampler of BB5. I ordered BB5 and gave BB3 to my daughter who has lighter skin. She felt it was too heavy for her and gave it back to me. I plan to use BB3 during the winter and BB5 during the summer. I like the pink tone of BB3 over the yellow tone of BB5, but both cover my face to brighten and even my skin tone. Love the coverage but takes some skill
I received a sample of this product and loved it! Now I have to say having used the sample I knew you have to work a bit to get this product applied properly. I find that using a small amount at a time and blending with a foundation brush works best. Fingers are no good. Didn't try a sponge. One properly blended the color was perfect for my skin (I'm very fair, blonde, blue eyes and used the lightest shade ). Lasted all day with no smear down. Hot flash or two didn't budge a thing. I would purchase this again.

I am not sure if I really like this product. It's difficult to apply specially if you do not put moisturizer on your face first. BB5 is a little too light for my skin. Maybe if I order BB7 I would like the color better. It smooths the skin out and It stays on all day so no need to re-apply.
