I like to use this cleanser once a week to remove excessive oil build up and dead skin cells. I have rosacea and can not use this cleanser more than once a week because my skin is very sensitive. Sometimes during the winter I use it once every other week and I still see and feel the benefits.

I had a Glycolic Acid cleanser that I loved for years. It was discontinued and I can no longer buy it. Since then I have been on a mission to find one just as good. The Prescribed Solutions has 7 % Glycolic Acid and works well. I love the easy to use bottle it comes in. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. This product I can feel working instantly tightening up pores as I tend to get minim breakouts that I can always feel but luckily you can’t always see. I am in my 50’s and my skin is definitely changing . I do not want to dry out my skin yet being in my 50’s I was hoping to be long past the breakout stage. I will tell you that I was using this product daily when it first arrived and it was way too drying for me. The directions clearly state to begin using twice a week. I like it better since I started following the directions.

Only have it to compare to neostrata which I love but this brand is great too. The dispenser I prefer on the neostrata because it’s a pump and a foam but other than that it’s a great product. Doesn’t feel quite as strong on the skin but does leave a clean smooth feel.

I have been using Starting Up Face with the anti acne booster for 10+ years after it was recommended by my dermatologist and aesthetician. I use it every morning and I find it to be a great exfoliate and keeps acne to a very minimal occurrence. I typically use a more gentle cleanser in the evening, but if I really feel I need the extra exfoliation or if I have a small breakout, then I use it at night as well.
