I am on my second bottle of the discoloration defense serum. This is not as strong as SkinCeuticals other discoloration serums but for me its what I need. I have very sensitive skin and I use this product every night before my moisturizer. It does not have a strong odor and does not sting like other vitamin c based products do. This helps with melasma and to maintain clear skin without discoloration. However, there are other products such as cyspera that actually gets rid of any type of discoloration. With consistent use, it helps, but it should not be the only product used. It won’t get rid of discoloration like prescription products.
