I use CE Ferulic in the morning and Skinmedica retinol 1.0 at night, combining this product in my regimen doesn't show much different. Maybe the other 2 serums that I use has given enough exfoliation for new skin to resurface that adding this to the regimen won't show changes. But this doesn't irritate my skin or cause dryness.

I have tried this serum for over 8 weeks and used as directed. I am 51 with amerasian skin easily prone to hyperpigmentation--sun spots and other melanin related issues. I saw very, very minimal fading after 8 weeks if at all. Perhaps it has helped my skin not get worse but for the price and the hype this brand's serums brings in general, I was NOT impressed. I love this brands other vitamin C and hyaluronic serums but won't be buying this one again. Other polyphenol based serums seemed to work better for my issues.

Honestly, this stuff is amazing. I’m 36, and I deal with melasma, and PIE left over from breakouts. This product has quite a few beneficial ingredients at great percentages to live up to it’s claims. Niacinamide, Tranexamic acid, Kojic acid, etc.. All ingredients to reverse and prevent hyperpigmentation, melasma, and heal PIH & PIE. Whenever I breakout, I’m super fair so I’m always left with a red mark. This makes them disappear quickly whereas they used to last for over a year. I’m not saying this is a one-and-done product since fighting melasma & PIE is a real bugger, but this truly helps. It’s so lightweight, soaks in super quickly, and doesn’t leave a residue. Plays nice with other products. I’ve repurchased many times! I feel like this product is so underrated, and deserves much more of the spotlight. Give it time- I think it took 6+ months for me to really see a difference. Paired with other actives like azaleic acid, glycolic, retinol, vitamin c, and AHA/BHA products.. I think you’ll see this really boosts results!
