Great Daily SPF Moisturizer
I've been using this product daily for about a month now. It is amazing, I honestly don't understand why it does not have better reviews. It is light yet does the job, no white cast in my experience. I use it after washing my face in morning and then apply it again during the day if I am going out. My skin gets congested easily by SPF products but so far this didnt cause any problems. The only issue I have with this is the size of the product. It is too big to carry in my everyday purse. But yet again it makes it cost effective. For reference, I am 31 with combo skin, occasional hormonal acne, and I do live in a humid city.

Great moisturizing SPF
I got my boyfriend on this product earlier this year and I kept noticing how Dewey and fresh his skin looked and decided to try this moisturizing SPF myself- while this isn’t my daily go to for SPF (because it’s very heavy compared to some of my other options and make up doesn’t quite go over it well) This is my go to SPF if I am just working outside or I’m going on a walk and I don’t plan on putting make up on after it will leave your skin very hydrated very moisturized and very dewey - the powder products just don’t seem to go over it very well but I as a moisturizer with SPF50 it’s absolutely a great product for one process out the door sun protection.

Shockingly bad
I can't imagine anyone thinking this was a good sunscreen if they have ever used a good sunscreen. Good sunscreen, to me, means not greasy and doesn't smell. This is VERY greasy (I've used multiple sunscreens for my face and body for years, this is really the greasiest). I have no idea how other reviews are saying it's not greasy. It's the greasiest product I can remember ever having put on my face. I don't even use sunscreens this greasy for my body in the summer. The smell is not slight, it is strong. It lasts with you all day. The scent was all over my makeup brushes the next day after using it a single time. It made my mask smell terrible. It's not even easy to apply- it's very thick and hard to smooth out.

I've been using SkinCeuticals products for the past 40 years, both the Sport UV Defense SPF 50 and the UV Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (for face). I was devastated when I found out they stopped carrying the UV Defense broad spectrum SPF 30, and was having to find another one of their products to replace it. Since I'm out in the sun quit a bit between sports and gardening I decided to try their new Light Moisture UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50... fingers crossed. I don’t normally write reviews but I would like other people to know what a superior sunscreen and light moisturizer this is, and I have tried many! I am so glad that I no longer have to keep testing other sunscreens and throwing them out due to greasiness, white residue, or stickiness. This product absorbs quickly into the skin , is silky smooth, and boasts an SPF of 50. It is also very reasonably priced for the size of the tube so I don’t contemplate a need to purchase more for a long time as a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this product.

Nice Product, Prefer Ultimate UV Defense
I tried this product because the SkinCeuticals product I normally use is backordered. I could definitely recommend this moisturizer. It has a nice feel to it. It is definitely light if that is all you need. The SPF 50 is nice to have as well, but it does have a very strong sunscreen "smell" if that bothers you. All in all, because I live in a very dry climate, I prefer the Ultimate UV Defense.

I just got this new sunscreen from SkinCeuticals and really like it. I live in Arizona where the sun is very damaging. Some sunscreen sleeve you really or give you this, but this one is very light and absorbs quickly. The zinc oxide in it ensures that you will not get more skin damage then you already have. My dermatologist says you should put it on to her three times a day and even before bed so that your skin truly absorbs its protection.

Works well for older/dryer skin types
Sunscreen is notoriously drying for my older skin. SkinCeuticals Light Moisture UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50 corrects that problem for me without having to moisturize before applying sunscreen. The layers of actives, moisturizer and sunscreen normally feels like I'm melting at the end of the day. With this product, not so much. I do need to take this sunscreen off with an oil to ensure that it, and my makeup are completely removed. A short wash with a creamy cleanser, and I'm ready for bed.

The product goes on thickly and leaves a white residue. It stays sticky for a long time so putting clothes on right away is not comfortable. I don't think the sun screen worked very well, as I saw tan lines on my arms and chest after use. I would not recommend this product.
