This one actually works, though at first I did have some sensitivity (I had been using a different product which said it contained 1 percent retinol, but I wonder). This did cause initial dryness and itchiness, but within a week of using every other day I was able to tolerate using it every night. I’ve noticed lightening of dark spots and a refining of pores. I’ve used other SkinMedica products but this is the first of their retinol I’ve used. It really does pay to use medical grade products.
