I purchased the full-size version of this serum after trying a sample. This product is amazing, but I would recommend starting slowly because it's very potent. As it's a serum, not a cream, you'll need to use a VERY small amount and follow it with a moisturizer. Unless you're experienced glycolic acid user, approach it similarly to retinol: begin every other day and gradually build up tolerance. If you're seeking a powerful exfoliator that delivers results, this product is fantastic.

I've been using this since an award-winning dermatologist instructed me to use this specific product every night (and the SPF day one) -- and it's been 15 years, which says a lot. Sometimes when I run out, I begin to budget-think (because of the high price) & I decide maybe I don't need it, or that I'll find something less expensive, or this & that. I always end up returning to it because my face looks/feels noticeably better from it's effects. I can look kind of haggard (and just not as good) without it, especially if I'm under-slept or stressed. It's like not working out: eventually it shows. It simply makes your face better; but see, then you get used to looking better. So then you think it's not doing all that much, so you quit. But then you realize it was a continuation long term plan that helped you. You realize that because you see that you're not facing as good of a face in the mirror in the morning. So don't do that. Because it takes time to bounce back. Learn from me & keep going with it. Some tips to make it last longer: apply immediately after you pat your face dry from cleansing. If you wait longer your skin will need to use more & it won't apply as silkily and easily. Allow only a small dot to come out on four fingers instead of a larger amount. This requires patience. (If you use more you will want to rub more to use up that amount, so don't do that; go sparingly with tiny amounts. Pretend it's the last bottle available & you are rationing it. Keep your touch gentle & light by thinking peacefully & treating your skin as if it's a baby. Don't hurry, it makes you put too much pressure on the skin.. Do all these things & it lasts longer. I waste so much when I'm hurried or impatient. In the end, remember outward beauty isn't what's really important, so just be a good steward of your skin -- and put the real work into speaking with love & grace and keeping a clean heart. These things are more beautiful. I hope this honesty & the frugality tips are a help to whoever reads them.
