Great Renewing Moisturizer!!! SC needs to revisit packaging...
I really really love this moisturizer, it's light and I feel as if it's regenerating my skin, I do notice a difference in the look of my skin. I use it under a face oil or another moisturizer at night because this is more of an active moisturizer (renews the cells). The only downfall is the packaging, the silver seal around the pump is coming off and there are little silver pieces every time I open the container that get on the counter and my hands before applying, I ended up throwing it away bc those silver pieces are sticky and I don't want that on my face. Luckily it was when I was about 75% done with the product. If you buy, make sure you wipe around the pump and lid before storing (after every use) otherwise it will start to remove the silver lining. That does show how powerful this moisturizer is!! I hope they rethink the design and pump!

This product feels extremely silicone-y and you can definitely feel a film settle over your skin after using it. However, this product paired with retinol is *chef’s kiss*. Using this before or after a retinol greatly reduced my symptoms of irritation and dryness. It’s also super hydrating! Very lightweight in texture but packs a punch. I have been using the Skinceuticals line for years EXCEPT for my light lotion in the warmer months. I’m normal/combo, in the winter I need a light cream, summer light lotion. (I’m just shy of 40 and in perimenopause) I had high hopes for this but it leaves my skin feeling slightly tacky and I’m also breaking out. Nothing in my regime has changed but this. It does feel and smell wonderful gliding on, and if I reduce the amount (1 pump for face avoiding eyes) it’s not enough but anything more is too much even bringing it down my neck. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks and honestly my skin does feel smoother but nothing more. I’m not sure if I’ll be purchasing this again or going back to my old light lotion.
