The “no-makeup” makeup look can be seen everywhere, especially during the warm summer months. The key to perfecting this look is to work with your natural features so the process will be slightly different for everyone. In this video, Kristen will share tips that everyone can follow to create an effortless no-makeup look.
Lightweight base products such as tinted moisturizers and BB creams are ideal for a no-makeup look because they offer sheer, natural coverage. Here, Kristen is using jane iredale Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream to even out her skin tone. Depending on how much coverage you want and your skin concerns, you may want to go in with a concealer after applying your base.
Adding a natural flush with blush will add color to your complexion. When choosing a color, go with a shade that complements your natural skin tone. In this video, Kristen is using jane iredale PurePressed Blush in Whisper which add a natural finish. Just dab the blush on the apples of the cheeks to give a rosy appearance.
When it comes to the eyes, you want to keep it simple. To create a natural look, Kristen is using jane iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple in Sweet Spot to even out the lid and add definition to the crease. Rather than reaching for your black mascara, try a brown shade in a lengthening formula such as YOUNGBLOOD Outrageous Lashes Mineral Lengthening Mascara. One or two coats of mascara may be all you need to define the eyes. If you want a little more definition, tightline the top lash line with a brown pencil.
You can finish off the look with a balm, stain or gloss that is similar to your natural lip color. Here, Kristen is using glo minerals Suede Matte Crayon in the shade Monogram to add a touch of color to her lips.
