For some time now, I recently started to notice some dark blotches on my fore head and around and under my eyes area. In fact I will describe my face as two tone colors. I was advised to use different products and I have spent so much in trying almost 2-3 dozens of different products. In fact the more I used these products it seems that my problem started to get worse. Worried and unhappy with all the results I got. My daughter asked if I have ever heard of Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily peel. In fact I decided to go for it, since I am someone who always took care of my skin without knowing that exposure to the sun caused such damage to my skin tone. Placed the order same day, as I want something to give me a positive result. I am someone that do not really use liquid make up to cover my face, rather I use just powder (my skin tone color). Well I am beginning to see the effect of Dr. Dennis Gross product. Can’t tell you how grateful and happy I am with this product. Use it daily and each day I take pictures of my face, compare the previous and the present, and I am so pleased to say that I am on the journey to heal my skin, and have my skin evenly toned. Thanks for this products although I mistakenly ordered the milder one instead of the first type I originally ordered. But I decided not to return it as that will make me break the routine that gives me results that I can see. I will reorder the stronger strength which was what I originally ordered the first time. Daily, I use other potent skin care products on my face, so I only do this peel once a week as a special treatment. It does help to dry out my pimples while smoothing my complexion. You may experience a bit of a sting upon application if your face isn’t accustomed to AHAs.

So, I had such high hopes for these given the price and all of the outstanding reviews. However, I've been using them every day for over two months now and they certainly aren't miracle workers, so don't expect that. They have done nothing in terms of clearing up my acne, but they definitely have helped reduce fine lines and brighten my complexion. I was really hoping to see a difference in my acne, but it is what it is. I probably will repurchase when I run out, though.

I love this product because it fits in well with my current routine. I may do this after a night’s rest between uses of my retinoid product as a once weekly ‘glow.’ The way I do this is if I use my retinoid on Wednesday, I moisturize Thursday, and depending on tenderness of skin-sensitivity levels, I either use this in place of my retinoid Friday or Saturday. While it says you can use it every day, I wouldn’t, especially while using other products designed to chemically exfoliate/increase cell turnover. You don’t want to irritate your skin barrier. I also think it’s very important to use as directed for the amount of time specified on the packaging. These are fairly gentle on my skin. I do love how I look after I use it! :)

I have used this product on and off for awhile. Despite it being extra strength, it doesn’t irritate my skin—even if I forget and leave it on longer than the 2 minutes they recommend. This is a very strong exfoliant. It says that it can be used daily, but I have only used it once a week for the past two weeks and feel I couldn't stand more than that. These pads provide a good, mild exfoliation. Doesn't cause me to peel or flake, but does create a freshness and glow. I use them once a week on my face, neck and chest because I use a nightly exfoliating toner (lotion P50). So I don't need to use the Gross 2x a week. I think these pads are good for staving off hyperpigmentation (and blemishes if you have them), and helps other products absorb better. But in my opinion, it is not a strong peel--even the extra strength. It's an exfoliant.

Love the pads but noticed about a third of the pads were packaged incorrectly. For example, step 2 would wither have a dry pad in it or just the liquid solution. Very frustrating considering you pay so much.
