I suffered from bad acne as a teenager and though it decreased some with age, I was still fighting regular breakouts at age 40. To make matters worse, sun damage caused in my teens and 20s started showing in my mid 30s. At that time, I got religious about using a strong, quality sunscreen daily. Though over time, some of my dark spots had finally faded, I still had areas of uneven color and old acne scarring on my face.
