I know, a sponge is just a sponge. No further from the truth. This like every other item I've purchased from this line of products is like none other. It blends better than your fingers by far!. I normally don't like sponges, but this tool is the best for blending your foundation.

I just switched from using loose powder of another brand because the powder is all over my bathroom - all over. I switched to Jane Iredale pressed powder and have 2 spoonges. You can use 1 sponge for 4 days and then the other for the next 4 days. They are easy to wash and they dry quickly. Most of all, they provide great make-up coverage in an even tone. I just love them!

Great for blending!
I use mineral powder foundation and blush. This sponge works great for blending the foundation and blush for a more natural look. Washes up with soap and water and really holds up well.

Multiple Uses
The sponge can be used for a heavier applicatioon than the brush...especially good for applying matte foundation to a potentially shiny forehead and beside the nose. It can also help blend or lighten too heavy applications of foundation or blush, and the "corners" can also soften eye shadow. Washing it frequently doesn't change its texture or shape. This is a more user-friendly item than the typical wedge-shaped makeup sponges.
