Love the easy to apply, hydrating, soft tint it gives. I got the true pink and true red. The pink is that perfect pink kiss, but the true red is NOT red! It’s orange red, which is not what I wanted. I wanted a true red for fair skin with blonde highlights. Other than not being true to color - great product.

Stays on!
Since having to wear masks during the Covid pandemic, I have only been wearing makeup sparingly. One thing I discovered is the long lasting effect of this cheek and lip stain. Very little comes off on the masks and the color seems to last all day on my pale lips. The color is acceptable, but not what I would choose with regular lipstick, hence only 4 stars.

Big fan of the product, just not the shade (on me)
This is a fantastic lip balm/stain. Light, pleasant scent, great texture. Against my better judgment, though, I took a chance on the red shade, which pulls very orange and was not flattering on me. I’ve tried a sample size of the pink shade and I would definitely purchase the full size in that color.

Moisturizing
Reading the reviews that the color would vary on natural lip color, I had the impression that it would be more subtle. My lips appear to have full lipstick on. To me, this product works like creamy lipstick that moisturizes well.

Feels good but...
This lip balm feels really nice and has no flavor and has a very light Pleasant fragrance. It gives a slight blush to the lips which I like but it feels very sticky if you try to use it as a blusher. If it had a sunscreen I would probably repurchase but as it is it is way too expensive for what you get.

I love the luster, richness and lightness of this product. I first got a stick in pink for minimal coverage. I decided to order another stick in red, but it was much closer to coral than red. Love the natural look of this lip stain!
I ordered this after receiving a sample size with one of my orders. It has a pleasant berry aroma and has the consistency of a lip balm rather than a thick or creamy lipstick, but it is still lightly moisturizing. I haven't tried it as a cheek stain yet, but what I love most about it is that it doesn't transfer color to the face mask we all must wear due to Covid-19 protocols. The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that even though I ordered the pink shade, this full size version goes on a little more peachy than pink whereas the sample size was more of a mauve shade. I still love it though!

Have been using jane iredale Peach for about a year maybe longer and I definitely recommend. It’s perfect to use as a base for my matte lipstick to go on smoother which also makes it last longer. Have not used on my face. Put four stars not five so price doesn’t increase.

Flush of Color-Very Hydrating
I have been using this lip product for more than 2 years. It provides excellent hydration and it adds a flush of color. This is all I need for everyday use. Sometimes I use a light colored lip liner to outline my lips and then apply the lip stain and it looks terrific. I do need to apply it at least 3 times a day. It does not last an entire day. I do not use this product on my cheeks because I don't see any color when applied, so I just use my normal blush.

This is one of those color-changing lipsticks that is supposed to end up at a perfect natural shade for your skin tone. I wouldn’t say that happened for me. It turned an OK color, nothing to rave about. Nice packaging and nice feel on the lips—but it is a gamble if the shade will work for you.

Not a Forever “Red“–more orange
This is a high quality cruelty-free product without parabens or petrochemicals. I like the texture and the staying power of the tint, but oh my, the Forever Red on my fair skin is an unfortunate day-glow orange, a shade I would never wear. I will keep it though and wear a brownish or cool raspberry shade lipstick over it. I also have Forever Pink, and that one is such a lovely shade.

I am very pleased with this Lip-Cheek Stain Jane's come up to enhance our lips or blushing cheeks! Very lush, not greasy and gentle soft color, no heavy feel, no heavy tacky color, very soft! I received a free sample of this product, and decided to purchase it. I liked that I could use it as a moisturizing lip gloss, but that it also had a slight pink tint that responded to my skin uniquely. It provides a natural pleasing look. I like the texture. It is not too sticky or shiny. It seems to last well on my lips. I will see how long it takes to use up the tube. I use it as a supplement to the gloss that comes with my transfer resistant lipstick, which I usually run out of before the lipstick is gone. I also use this lip product by itself for a very natural look that adds a pink freshness to my lips.

I really like this product. Feels good on my lips. I was disappointed that the “red” has more orange color in it than I thought, hence the 4 star rating. I wanted to have a little darker color as I already have the lip stain in pink. I look better in reds with more blue tones than orange. I won’t buy this color again, but will buy the pink one. I have liked all the Jane Iredale products I have purchased.
