Messy and unpleasant smell
I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. Ferulic Antioxidant Serum is messy to put on and has an unpleasant smell. It might diminish lines and wrinkles. It doesn't cause redness, irritation, or breakouts. However, I don't know that it's doing anything more than the Metacell Renewal that I'm already using.

This made me break out. I also has a weird smell. I have lots of allergies. Seasonal. And this is pretty herbal stuff, it made my eyes itch. But it just smells awful. Didn’t do anything for my face.

I’m not sure the benefit of this product. It was recommended by my dermatologist. I find this product very sticky. Not sure if I ever buy it again way too expensive.

Seems ok… can’t stand the smell
Honestly - I can’t get beyond the gross smell to use this regularly enough to probably make a difference. I have been using this only maybe once a week. When I use this I smell a gross metallic type smell all day which I really dislike. I don’t think I’d purchase again for this reason.

I originally bought this to help with melasma and just have a balanced completion + decrease/prevent wrinkles. My skin just doesn’t like this product. It’s so tacky and feels like a layer is over my skin. It doesn’t smell the greatest either. The main reason was hoped it would help with melasma and it didn’t. Disappointed honestly.

Not sure if this is worth the huge price tag. This is my second bottle and I haven't really noticed a difference. I will finish this bottle and decide whether to switch to a less expensive Vitamin C serum. It might be that it just takes some time to work.

Strange smell and texture
Compared to other vitamin C serums I've tried, this one had a very unpleasant smell and feel on the skin. It felt almost tacky and sticky instead of absorbing into my skin like water. I like for my skincare ritual to be enjoyable, and this wasn't.

35 y/o, fair skin with freckles
I have been a fan of skinceuticals for the past 12 years. Now that I’m starting to do preventative injections and other treatments for my skin as it ages, I thought I would try this skincare favorite. I really couldn’t tell any difference in my skin from when I started using it to the last drop. I’ve also tried the C+AHA serum and thought the same thing. Maybe my skin is still young enough to not really see noticeable differences and it’s a product that I will come back to.

Not worth the money
The C E Ferulic was ok. My skin felt smooth and plump directly after application but after 3 months of use, I saw no improvement in my skin texture and no skin glow. I purchased this because I have melasma and combination skin and was informed this could improve both....it did not in my experience.
