Goes on well, seems to be helping. Only drawback, and maybe this can't be helped, is the scent. I don't care for the scent - it's very chemical/industrial. Sometimes I smell it on my face all day long - yuk!

This is the Vitamin C that I keep coming back to after trying all others. Even within the Skinceuticals range the others give me a reaction but this original one does not. I only gave it 4 stars because it does not dramatically help me with my hyperpigmentation but does give my skin an overall brightening effect.

Expensive, but in comparison, keeps being but worth it.
I am 70 years old and most people think I am 20 years younger. I have used this product for at least 15 years. I have tried other similar serums and always go back to this one. "Smells like science"
Love it- my face is smooth- I have no dryness like some people. I know some people have mentioned the smell and I have no problems with it. I had tried another in the past ( not from LovelySkin) and even my husband could not stand the smell- it smelled like celery but not in a good way - and it was all day! Yes this one is not flowery smelling- but once you put it on you - and others- will not smell it.

A friend (who has flawless skin) recommended this product. I have tried Vitamin C products in the past, but they have always irritated my skin. This is a game-changer! I have gotten so many compliments on my 52 year-old skin since using this serum! I did switch to using it at night because it tends to promote the oil on my already oily skin, but night time application has not hindered the results. I’ve been using this for about a year. I find it is effective but gentle enough in maintaining an even tone to my face. I also use it on my neck. I use 4 drops in the morning so it lasts. The 4 stars is only because I feel it loses a bit of efficacy after time even though I keep it in the box in a drawer. I still would highly recommend.

First time ..like it so far
Please keep in mind that it takes anywhere from 3-4 months to see big improvement in most products, especially for discoloration/ hyperpigmentation. This is my first time purchasing this product. I’ve been using it for almost a month now. So far I see some difference in my hyperpigmentation, plus I get microneedling every month. I’m hoping the combination of this product and microneedling will fade my hyperpigmentation.

I see the difference that this serum makes. I have sensitive, mature skin. This brightens my skin overall and does not dry it out. I think the dropper needs to be calibrated to dispense less product per drop though.

Smells bad but leaves skin soft
I've been using this product for a couple months now and have seen a positive difference in my skin tone and a reduced pore size. However the product does not smell good. It does disappear after some time but not a big fan of the initial smell.

Expensive !
This is a tough review to write because the stuff is insanely expensive. The most expensive skin care purchase I have ever made, except for my now defunct Clarisonic brush. Promised to last 6 months (if you can stretch it out that far) and if that's the case, each application costs about $1.00/day. For me, that is just nuts, but my dermatologist recommended it and she has beautiful skin. I'm not getting any younger so I was hoping this would be the fountain of youth I was looking for, LOL. I have been using it now for about a month. It does help plump up my skin with an added glow, however, no one has noticed this "dramatic" change except me! I still pretty much look the same but I will keep using it. I do like it but if money is tight, you might want to try a less expensive product. If you are young, you probably don't need this but be sure to keep using sunscreen so you lessen any skin damage to your face. It might save you some money later on in life!
