This is a great cream for the winter! I typically have oily T zone and normal skin on the rest of my face but during colder temps (i.e. winter), I do tend to get a little dry in my cheek and forehead areas. This cream has really helped me balance out my dryness during the winter without making me super greasy. I have used this in the summer as well when it is warmer, and I just use it more sparingly and it still great at providing the right amount of moisture. I use this at night time.

I have been trying different night creams for 25 years from drugstore to some pretty expensive products from LovelySkin. This is the first time I have bought a second jar of anything. I always have the skinceuticals triple lipid moisturizer on hand, but it's so expensive and seems to go by so fast! (I'll still always keep it in my shelves because it's SO worth it, but it is expensive haha). This would be a perfect substitute for that, as it's cheaper and it'll last much longer! It's not as thick and luxurious as the triple lipid, but it's absolutely perfect for the price. I kind of mix the two now to extend the life of my triple lipid. SkinCeuticals makes SUPERIOR products, I think. I once got really bad contact dermatitis on my face the day before we were to get on a plane for vacation. It was evening and I was on my way home and pulled into a local spa I know of to see if they might have something to soothe my red, itchy, splotchy face. They lady behind the counter was, of course, reluctant to suggest something, but told me about a couple of products.
