My First Retinol
This product is actually my first retinol skin product I’ve ever used in my skincare regime. I don’t find it too strong when applying to my face. I was having a lot of issues controlling breakouts I’ve never had to be concerned with and I believe this product has slowly helped me repair skin barrier and start the repair.

Great retinol for sensitive, dry skin
Due to recent gastrointestinal issues, my skin which was always sensitive has been severely dehydrated and any previous retinol formulas I used were discontinued because of the irritation from them. I used this everyday for a week straight anticipating some sort of irritation but surprisingly there was none. Also, improved the texture in just a week. Looking forward to purchasing the higher strength the next time around since I tolerated this so well

This is a very mild retinol which does not leave my 60-year-old sensitive skin face red or irritated. I use it 3 nights/wk and I pair it with the HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator. I think I will move up to the .5 formula on my next order.

The Best!!
This is the first retinol I’ve been able to use. Other brands of retinol have been to harsh and caused way too much redness, peeling and irritation that no amount of moisturizer or heavy cream could help. SkinMedica makes the gentlest but still effective retinol that I’ve used. I highly recommend this and their other products.

I really like SkinMedica products and wanted to give this a try. I use prescription Retin A and wanted to switch off every other night with this since I can’t use the prescription one every night. So far, it seems to work pretty well. It’s a quality product, and if my skin seems a little dry, I skip a night. I would recommend.

Good Entry To Retinol For Sensitive Skin
After not using a retinol based product for a few years, SkinMedica offers a lower formula to begin using retinol again. Follow the instructions provided and within a few weeks you will notice a mild peeling. I live in Florida and wear sunscreen on a daily basis as is what the product recommends. I will finish up this .25 and move up to .50 but I am glad I started with .25.

I have sensitive skin and all the products I have used make my skin red and slightly irritated, no matter how long I have eased my way up in use. I have struggled to use a Retin A product prescribed by my aesthetician, when she recommended to me to try this product to build up to possibly using Retin A. I love SkinMedica Retinol 0.25.
