I started using this about two weeks after surgery. It's now been two months and the incisions are small, soft, and a little red. This recovery gel appears to help. I also use it on an old scar (20+ years), but do not notice a difference, yet. I will continue to use it on both the old and new scars. I am olive skinned and my scars take longer to lighten so I am taking that into account.

I had open diverticulitis surgery in December 2020. I have been using this product every night on my scar. I order every month because my scar is almost completely gone. Great scar cream
This scar cream eliminated an angry-looking 3-inch burn scar on my hand. I have very fair skin and even paper cuts leave visible scars, but this cream eliminated any semblance of discoloration. My dermatologist recommended it and advised that I use twice per day and apply sunscreen afterwards. It dries quickly and leaves an invisible and non-tacky film-like covering.
