I first tried this Vichy product as a sample. I liked it and its feel on my skin. I even ordered it and used it. It provided a nice, but not heavy, moisturizing effect first thing in the morning. It absorbed quickly as well. I use it first thing in the morning, then apply a light moisturizer for the day, then my sunblock, which I HAVE to use. (Other than those things, I do not apply make up or anything else. I am in my 70’s) I stopped using it at one point (forget the reason now), but have since returned to it as I LOVE the way it makes my skin feel and look. I have a LOT of sun damage from past sun over exposure…so anything that can make my skin feel plumper, less dried out, and smoother is a winner for me! I do recommend this product! BTW it does contain hyaluronic acid, so it is a plus. It is also reasonably priced, something I DO need to consider.

Scorching hot climate friendly
I had tried this product several years ago but was not consistent with daily regimes. 2023 extreme weather conditions prompted me to revise my skincare routine. I remembered this serum and was able to buy it with a discount. After just a week of daily application, mornings and nights, my skin has tolerated the serum very well. Meaning that even with a daily temperature range of 100F-120F it doesn't make my skin blush, itch, nor it melts downwards. It protects and hydrate beautifully without any inconvenience. It's worth mentioning the package: its blueish-clear bottle makes it easier for the consumer to know exactly when is time to reorder. But mostly I love that is a very thick bottle which probably can withstand an occasional drop to the floor accident and/or friction while inside bags/luggage/boxes. I recommend it, during sales or at full price, specially if you are skipping hydrating or moisturizing because skin products are making you feel uncomfortable due to the summer scorching temperatures.
