This CHI AIR Spin n Curl Ceramic Rotating Curler video will show you how to get perfect curls with ease!
Let’s face it – curls can be complicated. However, the experts at CHI have delivered the perfect way to simplify curls at the push of a button: the CHI AIR Spin n Curl Ceramic Rotating Curler! We’re here to break down how to use this intuitive device so you can create runway-ready curls in no time.
Begin by prepping your hair with a heat protecting spray like Kenra Professional Platinum Hot Spray 20. Next, select your desired heating temperature (up to 410 degrees) by moving the “+” or “-“ buttons located to the left of the digital display on the handle of the curler. Then choose your desired curling time (15-17 seconds) by pressing the button labeled “M,” followed by the “+” or “-“ buttons to add or subtract curling time. The CHI AIR Spin n Curl Ceramic Rotating Curler will beep when it has reached the desired temperature.
Next, separate a ¾” to 1” section of hair and insert it into the curling chamber (the small notch at the top of the barrel). Smaller sections of hair will create more defined curls while larger sections create less defined curls.
The curling chamber should remain facing outwards and the curved portion labeled “this side toward head” should remain at a 45 – 90 degree angle facing towards your head at all times during use.
Once separated hair is in the curling chamber, select which direction you would like the curl to face by choosing the left- or right-facing arrows on the handle of the curler. Press the appropriate arrow continuously until the device beeps four times. This indicates that your curl has been in the chamber for the desired amount of time. Remove the curl from the barrel by gently bringing the curler away from hair.
Finally, set your hair with a humidity-resistant hairspray like Kenra Professional Volume Spray 25. This will ensure your curls from the CHI AIR Spin n Curl will stay in place all day!
