In this masterclass video, we celebrate jane iredale’s 30-year history of enhancing natural beauty and discuss how the Ready to Bloom collection draws inspiration from Jane's garden for a new collection of fresh, feminine color.
Celebrating the shades of bright spring makeup, the jane iredale Ready to Bloom collection draws inspiration from jane iredale’s garden while also celebrating 30 years of natural beauty and the Pantone Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz. With fresh, feminine shades in apricot and peach tones for the eyes, lips and cheeks, the Ready to Bloom collection pairs perfectly with the bestselling jane iredale Skincare Makeup System for a natural spring makeup look.
To begin this spring makeup tutorial, Shawn shows the new shades of jane iredale PurePressed Blush in Flourish and Velvet Petal and the jane iredale PurePressed Eyeshadow in Wildflower and Honeysuckle. Shawn begins by applying the jane iredale Smooth Affair Primer Mattifying formula over Leah’s face as well as the eyelids. Shawn mentions that a good primer should help your makeup adhere properly to skin, as well as give your makeup an airbrushed finish. Next, Shawn applies the jane iredale HydroPure Tinted Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & CoQ10 with his fingers for an easy and even foundation application.
Next, Shawn applies the jane iredale Enlighten Plus Under-Eye Concealer to brighten under the eyes and mentions that peach shades help to neutralize black and grey shades. He then applies the jane iredale PurePressed Base with the jane iredale Rose Gold Handi Brush in even, downward strokes. Finally, Shawn spritzes the face with the jane iredale Calming Lavender Hydration Spray to help set the powder foundation.
Moving on to the Ready to Bloom Collection, Shawn applies the jane iredale PurePressed Blush in the shade Flourish. He applies to the apples of the cheeks and sweeps upward toward the temple.
Next, Shawn applies the jane iredale PurePressed Eyeshadow Triple in Honeysuckle on the lid and beneath the lower lash line for a smudged, smoky-inspired spring makeup look that lifts the look of the eyes. He pats the shimmer shade to the middle of the eyelid with his fingertips for an illuminated, yet natural look.
Shawn finishes the eyes with the jane iredale Eye Pencil and jane iredale Beyond Lash Volumizing Mascara. On the lips, Shawn uses the jane iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in Forever Peach and notes that the formula includes emollients and antioxidants to help keep the skin on the lips healthy and protected.
