As recommended by the Leonor Greyl line, as a weekly treatment, blend equal amounts of this with the Huile Germe de Ble (I use about a fourth cup each), put it on a dry scalp, massage it in, and leave on about 30 minutes. It does a number of things: it helps with oil production (but does not entirely stop oily hair); and it soothes the scalp, so that hair feels bouncier. This combination has helped more than any other hair product for oily scalp I have used.

I like the shampoo in this kit. A little goes a long way and it smells great. It volumizes okay. The oil in the kit is EVERYTHING. It smells wonderful and leaves my hair so soft. I put it on dry hair, pile it on my head, and leave it for hours. Then I wash and condition normally. I will buy a full-size of the oil and maybe the shampoo.

On a recent visit to Paris, I went to the Leonor Greyl Institute to provide advice on my (frustrating) life-long oily scalp and, more recently, hair thinning. Addressing the oily scalp, they combined the Huile Germe de Ble and the Concentre Energetique (50/50) as they recommend on the box and let it sit on the scalp for about 20-30 minutes. They recommend this as a weekly treatment. The effect on the hair is kind of magical--it really does "dry" the hair out without making it feel too dry. Mind you, it does not solve the problem of oily hair but it does help. My scalp does not feel as irritated anymore. I am really enjoying this brand and all the products I have used so far. This may be my favorite.
