A dermatologist-developed molecule that encourages effective exfoliation with a non-irritating yet low pH and improves the skin’s moisture barrier.
Wash face with AFA Cleanser. Dispense no more than a dime-sized amount of gel onto your hands. Rub together to evenly distribute the product and then apply to the entire face. Do not rinse off and do not spot treat. Leave first application on two hours then wash off with cleanser. If no irritation occurs within 24 hours you may leave gel on overnight. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Work your way up to Plus after using Mild. Use of a daily sunscreen is recommended.

I got a bottle of the mild AFA gel complimentary from LovelySkin and I liked the product. Since I finished the first step I bought the 15% second step. I really like the AFA products and I wouldn't have tried them if LovelySkin hadn't sent me the products complimentary. This is a great product line and I've been happy with everything I've tried. I'm 43 years old and acids are an important part of my skin routine. I use them routinely so my skin tolerates them well and seems to really have responded nicely to this gel.

The good thing in my opinion is the contents is runny and easily mixes with other products. The only downside is this company, for whatever reason, does not seal this particular item. The shipping company wrapped it with a ton of sticky bubble wrap. But before that they put this sticker over the ‘how to use’ words and the contents was partly covered as well. Couldn’t get that tape off without wrecking the whole thing! So tacky. I sent message to customer service. I didn’t think when a person buys an expensive product like this that at the very least should have a box.
