I agree with many of the reviews that this helps with glowy skin. I prefer to only wear a tinted moisturizer and after using The Essence I can see a difference in my skin with regular use. I like to alternate between a few stronger exfoliating toners at night, so this is perfect to use in the morning. I have tried many essence products and similar toners that are available on the market... this Essence from Augustinus Bader is AMAZING. After two weeks of using it (alternate usage -AM and PM depending on what I use after (don't use with a retinol or actives), and my skin is more supple, smooth (really made a difference with smoothing out my texture), and has such a nice glow. Definitely recommend. I use a moisturizer (another brand) and his face oil after and wow what a difference. I can't wait to try his other products too!!

A little goes a long way with this essence. I use about 5 shakes into my hand, then pat the essence into my face. I let it sit for about 10 minutes before putting a moisturizer on top. By using it every other day for two weeks, I've already seen a definite 'glow' to my skin and pores are noticeably smaller. I've tried many other hydroxy acid toners, and this is the first one that hasn't made me break out or caused redness.

I am a huge fan of AB Rich Cream, and the description of the Essence sold me -- exfoliating and brightening and toning. I've noticed that the AB Rich Cream doesn't work as well when combined with products from other lines, so I'm gradually buying more and more products from AB.
