Good, although Not Exceptional

First received as a freebie with a Bader order and recently repurchased. I like it, but don’t find it exceptional. I’m a bit obsessed with lip care, so I have a variety of different balms. I like the Bader as one in my rotation. Perhaps different products have their own beneficial ingredients that overall keep my lips in good shape for the different purposes. For example, I typically Bader’s lip balm at bedtime with my Bader face products. A different brand product as pre-treatment before my lip color. And another on the go. Price factors into my rotation choices as well. As said, a bit obsessive but not relying on one lip balm works best for me.

Slippery, Little Hydration

I like that this lip balm isn’t sticky, but I don’t find it to be very hydrating at all. It’s a very thin and slick texture which causes it to slip right off my lips. Very little staying power, very little moisture. Does not soften my slips at all. I will, however, say that the packaging is really nice!

Nothing Else Compares to this Winner

I am 61 years young. I have lived long enough to have tried just about every lip balm and lip conditioner known to mankind. This lip balm is hands down the best of the best. It has become the only lip balm product I use. It delivers on everything it is supposed to do. It feels like silk on my lips and moisturizes supremely without ever being or feeling greasy. I use the entire Augustinus Bader skincare line. It's truly the best product line I have ever used. My skin instantly looks better the moment I apply the products. This lip balm is no different. Goes on very smooth and stays on longer than any other lip balm I've tried. My lips are always painfully dry and cracked. However, since using this lip balm my lips are soft and appear fuller. I highly recommend this lip balm for those who suffer from chronic dry lips. It works!

Love this balm!

I have perpetually dried lips and have been chasing the perfect lip balm to heal them, while keeping them moist, without having to reapply constantly. Love that this doesn’t have flavors or scents that are drying and downright painful to cracked dry lips! It also heals really quickly and seems to help plump somewhat….perhaps finally just being healed and moisturized. Although you don’t have to apply constantly (every 1/2 hour), it does require me to apply every few hours so it goes quickly. I do love the results, it does work fantastic. Just wish the tube would last longer by needing less application or be larger sized for the price :(

A big disappointment

While I was impressed enough with the ingredients to order this, in reality it's proven to be a big disappointment. It feels heavy when applied and within about 15-20 feels draggy and not at all moisturized - in fact, drier than with no product at all. I'm tossing it.
