The Cleanance Concentrate Blemish Control Serum is great at keeping my acne at bay while being very gentle. It does have an alcohol smell but goes away rapidly. I also like the Avene Cleanance Blemish Control cleanser. It is very gentle and has a very subtle fragrance.

I'm an acne prone adult who still struggles with breakouts mostly on my chin. I've added the serum along with other acne medications (retinoid & benzoyl peroxide cleanser). I use this once a day in the morning since I don't use other acne meds at that time. I put vitamin C serum over it and so far I haven't had any deep breakouts. I really don't know if this is why, but I was breaking out badly right when I introduced it. It definitely hasn't caused breakout or irritation. I haven't yet used the cleanser because I only introduce one new product at a time. I'm not thrilled that the cleanser has fragrance in it, but possibly it will be no problem since it is a wash off product.
