Not Enough Exfoliating

This product was too gentle (not exfoliating enough) for me. The microbeads could barely be felt when using it on my face. The gel is difficult to wash off. Afterwards, my face did not feel refreshed like it has with other microdermabrasion products. I will be returning this after 2 uses.

Smells Great, Super Gentle

This is a very gentle scrub. I wish it was a little more abrasive but gets the job done without irritating my skin. This smells a little like pink baby lotion and is not overpowering. A little overpriced, but I may still purchase again.

Avene Exfoliant - Not Quite Right

My skin is dry and delicate, but does need exfoliation from time to time. I was so hopeful of this product, but disappointed.. It exfoliated fairly well, but left my skin feeling even drier than it is and uncomfortable. Years ago, I used a creamy, delicate exfoliant by a different brand that was wonderful, but it's been discontinued and I've been searching for an alternative ever since. Sadly, this one doesn't work for me.

This is my first purchase of this cleaning gel from Avene. I have used several other Avene cleansers and wanted to try something "less delicate or gentle." I started using it only once a week then gradually twice. Now I am using several times per week. A little goes a long way. Washing it off takes getting used to as it seems oily. But patting my face dry feels nice and soft. I like how I look and feel when I wake up in the morning.

Truly Gentle !

I am a big fan of Avene products for my rosacea-prone, dry mature skin. While my skin is sensitive, because it is dry, and my nose tends to be flaky, I know I still need to exfoliate for my makeup to look smooth. I enjoy using this because the tiny exfoliating particles seem to loosen the dead cells, but the gel seems to soothe the skin. If I have time I like to follow with the radiant mask, if not than the moisturizer. I will purchase again. Most other exfoliators I've tried make my skin too reactive!
