Step 1 - Volumizing: Hold the mascara wand horizontally and press it gently against the base of your lashes. Using a zigzag motion, wiggle the brush through to the lash tips. Repeat 3 times.
Step 2 - Curving: Hold the mascara wand vertically below your lashes and rotate the brush a quarter turn. Hold for 10 seconds—done!

I have long lashes but with age (69 yrs. old) my lashes are noticeably thinner so I was hopeful that this product would be useful. Doesn't work as expected. The mascara is thick and clumpy so I scraped as much off as I could and it still went on my lashes thick in spots. It does not curl - no effect at all.
