This does not mattify. I was really excited for this but it did not work. I applied it in the morning and just a couple of hours later, my face was shiny. I do not recommend this product for this reason.

I've tried a few different Caudalie products now, and this moisturizer is by far my favorite. I have combination skin that is dry underneath and can be oily to normal on top, and this moisturizer covers all the bases. Moisturizes wonderfully while feeling velvety and supple (not to mention it goes right into the skin). Builds well with my serums (no pilling!) and is absolutely worth the money. A lite goes a long way too, so don't worry about it not being the biggest product out there for the price.

I use this moisturizer daily, after applying Caudalie's skin perfecting serum. I have oily / dry skin with high sebum production. Their serum does well to brighten and even out my skin tone but it does leave my skin a little dry. This moisturizer does a great job to add moisture, soften my skin, and leave a smooth non-shiny finish. My skin tone is much more even and it doesn't clog my pores like others do. These Caudalie products were recommended to me by an esthetician after receiving a facial and I haven't found other products that work as well. The bottles are small but last 1.5-2 months. I strongly recommend both.
