All skin types except the most sensitive can use this vitamin C serum without irritation.

A form of vitamin C that acts as a powerful antioxidant, reducing the appearance of fine lines and discoloration and protecting the skin against free radical damage.
Cleanse and tone. Apply Cellex-C High-Potency Serum. Squeeze 4–5 drops into the palm of your hand. Using fingertips smooth the serum over your face (avoiding eye area), neck and V of chest. Apply moisturizer or sunscreen of choice. Cellex-C treatment formulations should be applied every 24 hours.
The color of this product may change due to environmental conditions. This color change is part of the biochemical-stabilization process and will not affect the efficacy of the product when used as directed. *Avoid the eye area. Avoid hairline and eyebrows, as this product may cause discoloration, particularly on blond or grey hair. When applying Cellex-C High-Potency Serum to your neck, please be aware that it may leave a clear residue on your collar which could oxidize and turn light brown. These stains will usually wash out, provided the clothes are laundered as soon as possible after wearing.

I've lost track of how many vitamin C serums I've tried! This one is my go to. First, it isn't sticky. Second, it is silicone free. I layer products and so many have silicones, so I don't want to double (or triple) up on those. I use this serum on the areas of my face that have sun damage, which means I use it mostly on my cheeks. I use it every other day, and on alternating days, I use a niacinamide serum. I wish this serum came in a half-ounce size (like it does in the Two-step Starter Kit), as it takes me a long time to go through a full size bottle, and I'm aware that ascorbic acid isn't as stable as the vitamin C derivatives. So to use it up a little faster, I often dot it on sun spots on my forearms. Oh, and I've found that this product has just the right potency for my skin, and I don't need to go to the "Advanced" version that Cellex-C offers.
