I think the colors in the palette are fine, my issue is that I didn't find them easy to blend. Even with using the brush that is included. I would say to definitely apply the product after using a good primer or moisturizer. Overall, I think it's a great and convenient concept and I'll definitely make an effort to keep using it to see if It gets easier to blend.
