i love organic and natural products when I can find them. Zinc Oxide is the number one defense against sun damage. It physically keeps the sun from penetrating and harming the skin. I had used the tinted Coola sunscreen before with success, but was anxious to try this clear matte version - I like it! Instead of leaving a smeary or greasy finish, as you get with some facial sunscreens, this leaves a pretty and clean finish which is not shiny. I use it on my hands as well, to prevent the formation of more brown spots. Coola for the win!

I need to use mineral sunscreens and this tinted sunscreen works well for me. Had to get used to shaking a tube! A little product goes a long way and applies evenly if I use a toner or light moisturizer first. The tint is not "orange" like some others and is perfect for my lighter skin tone and it remains matte throughout the day which is good in humid weather. I don't need to use foundation most days.

I've started using this a couple weeks ago. I have dry and sensitive skin so I have to put on a moisturizer first and give it time to sink in so the sunscreen will blend evenly. It disappears well on my light olive skin and does have a nice matte finish and is not tacky. I wore it this weekend with some friends, some who were not wearing any sunscreen, and they got burnt so it's nice to know that it's effective too.

Why mess with something that works well? The company got rid of the original matte finish mineral sunscreen that went on smoothly and was actually matte. They replaced it with this awful product. This not only smells awful, but it also stings a little when you apply it. So unhappy with the purchase. And it does not apply matte as it should. For the price point, they should allow and offer samples before you commit. Skip it!
