This sunscreen is lightly tinted which helps create a more even tone and diminish the look of imperfections. The formula is very lightweight and sheer so it does not look shiny and leaves the complexion with a matte finish. Physical sunscreen ingredients deflect UV rays to help protect against skin cancer and signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. The chemical-free formula is safe for most skin types including sensitive.

This is the best mineral facial sunscreen I’ve tried. It’s invisible on my skin and the tinting helps smooth everything out. It is still a little sticky, although less than others I’ve tried.

Horrible "universal" tint and texture

This product is not going to work for fair, light, even some medium skin tones. The brown tint is orange-ish and comes out of the tube THICK. Felt horrid rubbing in, doesn't spread well at all. To get the right amount of SPF you would have to use almost 1/4 of the tube. Warm and medium tan complexions would have best shot.

Perfecting sun screen

I love this sunscreen. It does not leave your face shiny or oily feeling at all. I like that it blurs any imperfections I may have without having to put on a ton of makeup just to go sit by the pool or to the lake with friends. It does come out of the tube thick, however all you have to do is warm it between your fingers & it goes on lovely. I also appreciate the fact it has clean ingredients...no breaks happening over here :)

I am in LOVE with Cotz sunscreen! This product goes on very smooth and has a matte velvet like finish. I prefer to wear this type out to lunch or dinners when I want a more “polished” look. Usually during the day I use the Flawless Complexion for a more “Dewy” casual look. CoTZ Face Prime & Protect SPF 40 is a two for one product. It provides good sun protection but also works well under concealer. I switch off between this product and CoTZ Flawless Skin sunscreen SFP 50(both lightly tinted). I use the Prime and Protect sunscreen more when I'm exercising outdoors and in hotter climates since I have dry skin and this product is a bit more drying then the Flawless Skin sunscreen. Overall, it's a good sunscreen and I will definitely re-order!
