AMAZING

Caused acne

This product was too harsh and actually caused a lot of acne I believe from the irritation… I have been an avid retinol user, so it must have been the BHA. If my skin were more tolerable to BHA I would have given 4 stars. It absorbed nicely without leaving an oily residue.

I switched from one retinol to another

I have been using a respectable branded retinol for years bought from this website. However it came to a point where I don't see any difference in my skin anymore, it's not glowy and my hormonal acne is popping up again. I saw Dermalogica Active Clearing Retinol being used by this wildly renowned make up artist and highly praised and recommended by a famous Esthetician who have previously suffered from acne on YouTube. It is pricy but with discounts from LovelySkin I managed to get hold of it and I am super glad I did! In my experience it took two nights to see the difference. I think its really the bold combination of salicylic acid and retinol that made the dramatic difference. The smell though is something that you just have to put up with.

Best product for sensitive skin and acne prone skin

I literally can not put much on my face without breaking out or getting a rash. I can only use one moisturizing on my skin because it only has 3 organic ingredients. I was so scared to try this but I had recently tried the dermalogica overnight retinol and my skin loved it. That is when I knew Dermalogica was top quality and for sensitive skin. This oil keeps my skin so gorgeous, radiant, young looking and ALWAYS clear. I call it a miracle in a bottle. I wish I had this 15 years ago, I would have saved my poor skin a lot of trauma due to horrific acne. My skin has NEVER looked younger and more beautiful. Amazing oil

I received this as a sample with my normal purchase of skinceuticals. I've only used the skinceuticals CE ferulic so I wasn't sure what to expect and this was the 1st Dermalogica product I've tried. It's light and absorbs easily, the smell is light and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have oily/combo skin with large pores and live in humid weather so using an oil was questionable in my mind. I woke up the next morning and did a double take. My skin truly looked radiant. I didn't even need makeup! There was no oily T zone, or anything. It literally looked like I had a facial in my sleep. I bought it and use it every night after I cleanse my skin. I will not live without this oil. My pores are not as large looking, it actually helps my oiliness, and it is hands down the best oil for combo skin that needs some moisture but is not too heavy. LOVE IT!!
