I had used this primer many years ago, have tried multiple primers in between and have decided to try it again, so glad I did. This will now be my main primer. It is a little pricey compared to many others I have used but it works great! It has a very clean/ natural smell, it is tinted and also has SPF. I do not use any additional SPF in the winter when using this primer. I have switched most of my skin care to Dermalogica.

Although this is a primer, I wear it as a sunscreen and foundation as well. It has SPF 30 and has a slightly thick consistency which covers all imperfections. On those times when I need to cover marks on my face, this is my go-to product. It is also great for everyday use. It gives my skin a beautiful shade. It is also buildable. If an imperfection needs extra coverage with no concealer needed, more spot coverage will blend right in. Many of the stylists at the salon wear this, which is why I decided to try it. I know it is working to protect my skin, but it helps my skin to stay moisturized It is not at all drying. After applying an even layer to my face and neck I let it set for a few moments. I apply a loose, translucent powder to my face, maybe a blush and then eye make up. Quite simple and very effective.

Much to my chagrin, this is the replacement for the discontinued detmalogica hydrablur primer, which I loved! Well I don't mind the tint and the idea of the spf, which is great, there is a strong scent to it I don't like, which the hydra blur did not have. In addition, the hydra blur blended into my skin nicely, this has a caked on look appearance. I like to be able to slather primer on my face, and this makes it look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup and ends up settling into the lines on my face. This is one I will not be purchasing again

I purchased this product because I enjoy a light tinted moisturizer over my regular moisturizer. But I was a bit disappointed as the product seems a bit dry and left a dry look. I appreciate a tinted moisturizer but this one was a bit too dry for my skin. I have normal skin but even though its not dry I prefer a moisturizer with more glide and moisture. But this seems like an excellent product and perhaps my experience of the product is because I need more moisture in my moisturizer. I suggest trying it because it is an excellent product regarding ingredients and tint as well as spf. Perhaps wearing it under your moisturizer is another option as they suggest it as a primer. But I was seeking one for my final moisturizer.
