I find this to be just ok. Probably wont buy it again. The gel is very thick and needs a bit of water to emulsify and it has a strong scent. But mostly, it really doesn't do much. If you're looking for a gentle acid face wash this is it, but if you want something you can tell helps with skin turn over look at some of the ones that list the acid %

It's VERY thick and you really have to work it into your hands before you put it on your face. After that, it lathers fine and does a nice job cleaning your face and rinses well. I am 68 and have used Dr. Dennis Gross products along with a lot of other brands for may years. I have never used his face wash though. I am now about half way through my first bottle. My nose has always had dirty looking pores and I have tried everything that I could afford. Nothing has worked for me. It's not a magical wash, that does not exist, however it is the closest thing to it. The pores on my nose are so much more refined and clean. Sometimes I use the wash with the a cleansing sponge, other times with my cleansing device. At night just a simple hand wash. Different things work for different people. This is the BEST face wash that I have found- I love it!
