At first, I didn't like this product because it was very runny (and thought it would stain my sheets and bedclothes). However, I started using this regularly at night, right before bed, and after applying, rubbed a small amount of quality hand cream in to make the product less "runny". The hand cream helps serum adhere to hands. Slowly, I started to see results. Have purchased more. My dark spots are definitely fading. It's just a question of adhering to a regimen. Will definitely continue using this product.

I started using Dr. Gross Dark Spot Correcting serum. Just after 3 weeks, I can see the brownish and reddish spots lighten! It is very easy to use and absorbs into my skin quickly. Not for Oily Skin

I got this as a sample and I think this would work really well for people who do not have oily skin. Having oily skin, I felt this added more moisture than my skin could really handle. That said, I love Dr. Gross products and was sad that I was unable to use this.

Effective

I like the feel of this serum, and it is effective. I’ve seen some lightening of pigmented areas over the course of just a few weeks. My only complaint is that, because I use other medical-grade products, this dried my skin out pretty bad within the first few days of using. I think it’s the lactic that is a bit aggressive for my skin regimen. It’s odd because I didn’t expect it to be drying since the serum feels pretty soothing. Anyhow, I’d still recommend with the caveat that you should be sure to introduce to your regimen slowly and perhaps a hydrating serum immediately after applying.
