Dr.Hauschka Clarifying Clay Mask is a treatment product that offers multiple benefits for excessively oily and blemished skin. Purifying ingredients rid the pores of dirt, debris and dead skin cells that aggravate acne-prone skin and increase sebum production. The formula also gently exfoliates the complexion and refines the look of enlarged pores to create an even tone and texture. When used regularly, this oily skin care mask rebalances unhealthy skin.
Dr.Hauschka Clarifying Clay Mask uses natural and organic ingredients that are beneficial for oily skin. Loess clay, a natural mineral ingredient, absorbs excess oil as well as impurities to ensure that pores remain clear and unclogged. The formula also contains witch hazel that helps purify the complexion and reduce the look of enlarged pores. This natural skin care product gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells that aggravate blemishes. You can use this mask weekly to reduce the appearance of shine, acne and blackheads without aggravating the complexion.
Use after cleansing. Mix one to two teaspoons with equal amounts of water into a thin, smooth consistency. Steam with Dr.Hauschka Facial Steam Bath. Apply a thin, even layer of prepared mask with flat brush or fingers, avoiding eye area. Leave an oily or combination skin 10-15 minutes, dry or normal skin 5-10 minutes and sensitive skin 3-5 minutes. Remove mask by rinsing thoroughly with warm water. Finish with a cool splash of water.

I didn't know how to use this mask properly at first, so I didn't get all the benefits, but now I can't stop using this religiously once per week. Now I steam my face for a couple of minutes before applying the mask (usually with the DH clarifying steam bath). I let the clarifying mask sit for about 5 minutes, then follow up with one of the other moisturizing DH masks (firming or revitalizing). My pores have never been cleaner. I highly recommend this mask for clear skin.

I do like this mask because it really helps to clear out clogged pores, but the down side is that my skin feels dry and tight after using it, so I do use the regenerating mask afterwards and that seems to be the perfect combination for my skin 2 times per week.

I use it after steaming, and it does what it claims. Clarifies, deep cleans, and makes my skin oh so soft. My only gripe is that it’s messy. It’s not your traditional clay mask in a jar. It comes as a powder and you have to mix it with water (1:1). With that, it’s a watery consistency so may need to add a little more powder but other than that, it works.

This is probably one of the most affordable products in the range. All you need it a spoonful mixed with a little water (alternatively, you can use the clarifying toner to make the paste for extra skin benefits) and really clears out my pores. I swear my blackheads looked 70% better after just one use. I would describe the color as turmeric and the ingredients are so clean and pure. These products mimic a true spa experience!

I have used this mask for a while (twice a week) and I really like it because you can see results. It has helped me keep my combination/oily skin clear and soft. It is great as a spot treatment as well to help heal pimples. In winter my skin is dryer but I followed the suggestion of Dr Hauschka to mix the mask with 2 or 3 pumps of the cream cleanser and a bit of water.
