The only moisturizer, primer and make up all in one. Moisturizers and blends easily, works well over Dr. Hauschka facial lotions. Stays put all day until you wash it off at night. Texture is thick and creamy, perfect for full coverage or just a dab here and there to even skin tone. There’s not a lot of color options, you might need to try a few to find the right shade. I chose a warm shade because I have yellow undertones. Worked well for me, my skin is lighter in the winter.

This is an incredibly smooth foundation, non-irritating to my extremely sensitive skin. I have cool undertones and a few red marks and 01 covers very well without that mask look. If my face feels dry and I have issues I do combine this with a bit of moisture cream to further blend in. I had my skin tone done by a professional from a different brand before I found Dr. Hauschka and its a NC20 (Neutral Cool) (yellow) with warm (red) undertones. Regarding the scent, its very clean and non-perfumy but it doesn't matter because its gone in seconds.

I have used this foundation for a long time, and love that it has just a bit of moisture. In winter I wear moisturizer under it. The medium coverage is great for everyday. My face is very fair and this is one of the few foundations that offers a light enough shade. The formula contains skin-friendly jojoba oil and does not have any silicone. The scent is very mild and fresh. The only negative is that the pump often gets a dried plug of product that requires a firm press to dislodge and it sometimes gets messy. I like the old tube version better.

It’s a great every day makeup. It has a subtle, clean scent. The pump always works and the top will pop off to allow you to get every last drop. It would be a great starter foundation for a teen. It doesn’t really conceal red staining from breakouts so, in that case, I would couple it with a light concealer.
