Application was smooth and creamy. I took a chance on the color 04, Cumaru, and was relieved that it was a soft brownish beige, very close to my natural lip color. Lip liners are more natural looking and more portable than lipstick, with less bulk and weight. You can add more color if needed. I like to layer it over a bit of lip balm. Normally, I prefer a lip crayon to a pencil. Although this lip pencil is better than most, it still was a disappointment in one basic way. It has a tendency to smear after you have worn it for a bit. I want a lip liner that holds and stays in place. For me, that’s the purpose of a lip liner. So although adequate, I doubt I would buy it again.
