This lotion really does help reduce the appearance of capillaries. A little goes a long way and gives a nice, smooth texture to your skin. It is a very good base for makeup. I have found this line to be very good if you have rosacea. If you have a considerable amount of redness on your face, this is worth a try. It does have a slight scent to it but it is not offensive and goes away quickly.

The 2nd ingredient is alcohol and though it goes on nice and works well under my sun screen it is drying and did make my face red and burned a little the first few times I used it so the calming is what encouraged me to purchase it but I should have read the ingredients--it was quite the opposite result for me. I wish it was more moisturizing because it's a fluid vs a cream and goes on very nicely and it's not greasy. If dryness and sensitivity isn't an issue I think it's a nice product.

I use retinol nightly and tried this day cream to soothe my skin underneath my day makeup. It is very soothing and not too heavy or sticky. I apply it over my toner and day serum and under my makeup. I find I need to let it soak in for a few minutes before applying my makeup or makeup looks too dewy. It truly is soothing and smells nice. As I am exploring skin care more, I am coming to realize that my favorite products don’t always remain my favorites. I have been one treatment product day and night. I absolutely love that product. But I was trying to find something that was not as thick for my day use. I switched to trying a couple different moisturizers with SPF in them and just never liked how any of them set. I decided to try to separate moisture and SPF instead of one product that had both. I picked up some of one sunscreen to give that a shot for SPF but now I needed a better day lotion. I dug through my samples looking to see what I had. I was really looking for something just to work for a trial basis for the sunscreen to see if that was gonna be a good SPF or if I was going to go back to one of my SPF lotions. I found this little sample of this product after about two uses I just really loved the texture. I love how it went on; I love the way it felt. When I looked it up online I was able to get a whole bottle for $28. At that price point I figured why not I like the product. I’ve now done using it for about 2 1/2 weeks and I really do love the way it is on. If you have oily skin it may not be fitting, I do find it’s a little bit more runny then a cream. It’s thin though making it great for day use under makeup.
