I was skeptical of dry brushing since I tend to have dry and sensitive skin and I thought this would be too harsh. However, I decided to risk it and this brush has been wonderful. I will say that I do not find the experience of brushing my skin enormously pleasant, as the bristles are tightly packed and firm — by design. That said, it is not abrasive and I have not experienced redness like I thought I would (except in more obviously sensitive areas). My skin is softer and smoother now and it seems like my moisturizer absorbs better too. The brush quality is nice and I think it will hold up, which is great since I plan to use it a lot. It is also nice that the handle is not permanently attached to the brush, so you can choose to use it or not.

I only use this for dry brushing. This Elemis brush is stiffer than the other body brushes I use, but if you take it easy it does a good job. It took me awhile to get used to not pressing hard when I use it. Just let it glide over your skin. I can’t use it on my neck because my skin it too sensitive. The skin on my legs feels much softer since I’ve been dry brushing with this brush. I love it. Just be gentle when you use it.

Amazing brush is the most effective way I know to exfoliate and control cellulite on the body without going to a spa / plastic surgeon. Simply follow the directions enclosed, for dry brushing skin before showering. The bristles can be used rigid if you are not used them. Pricey, but well worth it!
