I love Elta MDs products generally, but I didn't like this one. The spray comes out as a heavy white foam which you need to rub around-- and my point in buying a spray is to avoid the need to rub it in. And even after spreading it around it still leaves a white cast. Too thick for me. But it does stay on and give good sun protection.

So excited that Elta had released a spray sunscreen for the body. Sorry to say it is a huge disappointment—thick and pastey, leaving a hideously white cast when applied to arms, legs and chest. Returned it immediately. Have used Elta’s Moisturizing facial sunscreen spf 40 for several years. Love that its scent free and light on the skin yet provides powerful protection from UVA/UVB rays, so was expecting the same attention to a body product. Elta knows how to make a good product so I’m hoping they’ll reformulate this one.

Had high hopes for this new product for the outdoors. It's hard to spread and dries very patchy - you are left with visible white cast, and I kept wondering if the parts of skin without the cast had enough sunblock / is effectively protected. Gets on your clothes / bathing suits too. Price is better than the SPF 50 water resistant sunblock from EltaMD but I'm going back to that one.
