It is hydrating, with a refreshing cucumber-tea tree scent and slight tingle. I haven't found the tea tree to be too drying, and it hasn't caused any additional congestion or breakouts. The tingle is a bit much when my skin is overdried/sensitive after a peel, but it's excellent for daily use.
