It is too early to tell if this helps with hair growth. In addition to red light therapy, you can adjust the vibration level of the tool. I was expecting it to have a little pause when it is time to change sections, similar to my Foreo face device, but that doesn't happen. Another thing that is different, or at least hasn't popped up for me yet if it applies to the face Foreo, is that there is a subscription option for modes. There are still a few free modes, but that did kind of rub me the wrong way given the cost of this device.
