My favorite thing about this cleanser is that it doesn't leave my skin dry and tight afterwards. I feel the cleanser does control acne and is a nice second cleanse. I will say for me, the eucalyptus actually can be a little irritating. So for sensitives out there, just be careful with the time left on and the eye area. In general, I can handle the cleanser just fine , as long as I pay attention to where my skin is at on that particular day. Salicylic acid at 2% never bothers me so I'm pretty sure its the Eucalyptus oil. All together a really nice cleanser. I am not sure if I would repurchase specifically due to the eucalyptus but it is hard to find a second cleanse that is not stripping so I may. I would recommend at least trying this cleanser. :)

Glowbiotics makes the best cleansers

I have very oily skin but also very sensitive and all the cleansers with acids that I used before (latest were Revision Brightening, Replenix Gly/Sal) irritated and dried my skin, so that I could never use them regularly. My go-to face cleansers are gentle Is Clinical Cleansing Complex and Glowbiotics MD Probiotic revitalizing cleanser. I used Is Clinical cleanser for 10 years and still love it, but it doesn't foam at all and is difficult to use with Foreo brush. Glowbiotics Probiotic cleanser gives a nice foam and cleans well while still being super gentle (I used it without a problem after strong chemical peels). So I thought I should also try the version with Salicylic acid. Well, it is also very gentle and not irritating (for comparison - Revision brightening cleanser turns me bright red)! I am almost 40 and no longer have active acne, but my oily skin gets congested, so acidic cleanser is not a bad idea. It also foams nicely and does not dry my skin at all. I was concerned about Eucalyptus and Menthol in it, but apart from a weak scent I don't feel those ingredients. So I totally recommend you this cleanser, if you are looking for something with acids. However, I would not use it twice a day every day, it would be too much, especially if you use other acids/retinol products. Sometimes you need to give your skin a break. Buy it together with Probiotic cleanser and use Acne cleanser only once a day. I truly believe that these two are the best face cleansers on the market today. Also they last a long time, so price is very reasonable.

Great face wash.

I always double cleanse when wearing make up; so this is the cleanser I use after removing make up with another cleanser. My pores are smaller, my oil production in my T zone is less (I have normal to oily skin and hormonal acne around my time of the month) This smells light, and hasn't dried me out at all. Just what my skin needed!

I love this!

I’m always hesitant to try new products but I’m glad I chose this product. I’m assuming I’m suffering from hormonal acne with breakouts around my mouth, nose & chin. Within four days of using this product I noticed a huge difference, my face was clearer and I’ve had less breakouts. My face is dry and I have redness so I also purchased the moisturizer and it leaves my face feeling smooth. Just what my skin needed!

Wow! This cleanser is very effective yet extremely gentle on my face. I always end up with such dryness when using acne cleansers. This one feels so amazing as you wash your face. Miracle product

The Glowbiotics MD cleansers are serious life savers. I have tried every cleanser on the market and nothing comes close to these two. I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin and am battling autoimmune stuff and hormonal acne. I also use prescription retinoid every other night- these two cleansers are saving my skin and so much so that my skim keeps improving post washing. You do not get that tight feeling or dry feeling afterward, it actually cleans out your pores and softens skin and I could go on and on. I seriously dislike the packaging, even tho it is super pretty, I wish it was a dispenser. Honestly, I don’t really care because they work SO well, and I am so happy with them!!
